BlackBerry Playbook, sales failure in its early days on the market, Research In Motion launched its tablet Playbook Tuesday at thousands of stores without initial success may have had other devices like the Apple model. Some analysts even say that it will be difficult to sell to consumers primarily because it offers one of the essential elements of the BlackBerry, email.
RIM takes a couple of years of fighting with Apple, both the iPhone as the iPad, and Google's Android operating system. Upon arrival to the market its latest product, the tablet Playbook, which RIM expected great things, there seems to be the expected results. According to Reuters, some consumers consider it as an unfinished product as if it had been released early, as the famous e-mail function and functions such as being a host, not present. The tablet needs a BlackBerry to manage these two elements.
Now RIM have to make a double effort, first, to fight competition, and second, against such scathing remarks. When RIM is launching a product, at least you know that business demand will in his favor, however, some analysts believe the launch was not too well thought out, with limited supply and lack of advertising. In fact, AT & T, the second U.S. carrier, said it was still testing the Bridge security software when it launched the product. In fact, the operator said that before presenting a new product to their customers, of course, want to be sure to provide good service.
In short, the RIM playbook is released over a year after the onset of the iPad on the market that the initial frenzy generated by the iPad 2 has nothing to do with the excitement generated by the playbook, that Apple sold 15 iPad million in 2010, RIM expects to sell 3 million playbook in 2011 (according to a number of analysts consulted by Reuters.) These same analysts say that despite this initial situation and the still developing QNX operating system, RIM and its playbook should continue on all to keep and consolidate the business market. And to give fuel to the fire, the market analyst firm, Gartner has made a forecast which estimates that in 2015, sold in 10 tablets, take QNX.
